United States Army 1249th Engineer Battalion Unit Crest (One Step Better)
Criteria: This product is the unit crest of the 1249th Engineer Battalion to be worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform. The unit's motto, "One Step Better," is written across the bottom scroll. The shield is scarlet and white denoting Corps of Engineers. The bayonet and chevron symbolize the unit's mission of combat engineering support. The ermine spots and jagged chevrons are meant to evoke the Cascade Mountains near the unit's home in Salem, Oregon.
