United States Army 1st Information Operations Battalion Unit Crest (Custodia Indicium Ausum)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 1st Information Operations Battalion. Their motto is Custodia Indicium Ausum which translates to Protection Information Exploitation. The black knight chess piece denotes Psychological Warfare, the red dragon denotes Information Warfare and the blue knights helm suggest protecting of the information domain.
