United States Army 279th Support Brigade Unit Crest (Integrity Always)
Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 279th Support Brigade. The unit's motto, "Integrity Always," is emblazoned across the top of the design. The red "X" is adapted from the state flag of Alabama, where this unit is based. The two wavy bars commemorate the unit's Pacific service in World War II. The eight pointed star symbolizes leadership. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
