United States Army 449th Aviation Brigade Unit Crest (First in Flight)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 449th Aviation Brigade. First in Flight is their motto. Originally approved in 1988 for the 449th Aviation Group and redesignated in 2008. Headquartered at the Morrisville Aviation Readiness Center in Morrisville, NC. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
