Gallant Unit Citation Ribbon
Criteria:
The Gallant Unit Citation (GUC) is an award of the United States Air Force available to any command that distinguishes themselves by heroism while engaged in armed combat with an enemy of the United States, but not to the level of the Presidential Unit Citation. Approved for actions on or after September 11th, 2001 the unit award is equal in degree to the Silver Star Medal. Additional awards of the citation are represented by wearing a Bronze Oak Leaf cluster on the service ribbon.
