Criteria: This is the Illinois National Guard Lincoln Medal of Freedom Ribbon. This award was established on June 24, 2006, but may be retroactively awarded to September 11, 2001. This ribbon is awarded to individuals who've been mobilized on or after September 11, 2001 in direct support of the Global War on Terrorism. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by Arabic numerals for additional awards.
