French Croix de Guerre w/ Palm (WW2) Lapel Pin

This lapel pin represents the Croix de Guerre 1939-1945 with Palm, a French military decoration established by decree-law on September 26, 1939, to recognize individual or collective acts of heroism in combat during World War II. Revived from its original World War I creation, the medal was awarded to members of the French armed forces, Allied personnel, resistance fighters, and military units — including many American units and service members, such as Audie Murphy, the most decorated U.S. combat soldier of the war.

The ribbon features a red background crossed with green stripes, and the palm device denotes a citation at the army level, the highest of the standard degrees below the rare silver-gilt palm reserved for Free French Forces-level recognition. The award is roughly equivalent to the U.S. Bronze Star or Silver Star.

Sized for everyday wear, this pin lets veterans display this recognition on a suit lapel or jacket. It's built for accurate detail and lasting durability.
