This is the Michigan National Guard Medal for Valor Ribbon. Awarded to service members of the Michigan National Guard who have shown valor through their actions and have served courageously. This award is prestigious, and is awarded to service members who perform acts that put themselves in grave danger to save others. For additional awards, silver oak leaf clusters are presented.
