United States Army Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division Unit Crest (Vires Per Ferocite)
Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the Special Troops Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. Vires Per Ferocite is their motto and means Strength Through Courage. Approved for wear in 2005. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
