United Nations Iraq / Kuwait Observer Mission Medal
The United Nations Iraq-Kuwait Observation Mission (UNIKOM) Medal is an international decoration presented by the United Nations to service members who participated in at least 90 days of service in the mandate to monitor and protect the demilitarized zone along the Iraq-Kuwait border and the Khawr 'Abd Allah waterway. The UNIKOM was established on April 9, 1991 and completed on October 6, 2003.
