United States Army 23rd Infantry Division ACU Patch
Criteria: This is the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI) worn by the 23rd Infantry division, also known as the American Division. The four stars are symbolic of the Southern Cross under which the organization served. This SSI was approved for the American Division in 1943 and was then redesignated for the 23rd Infantry division in 1954. This patch measures 2-1/2" in height by 2" wide and has hook and loop fasteners. Worn on the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP) Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Sold individually.
