Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform OCP Coat (IHWCU)
Made to current U.S. military specification using CORDURA NYCO Extreme 57% T420 high tenacity nylon / 43% cotton Rip-Stop as the main fabric with 330D CORDURA® nylon reinforcements. This uniform is designed to be cooler and to breathe better than the standard uniform on the shelf. Everything done in the design of the uniform is based on soldier preference. The most noticeable differences between this uniform and its standard version, is that there are no pockets on the chest of the coat.

Single breasted, 6-button concealed front placket - Fold down collar with fusible interlining
- Button cuff sleeve closure with 3-button hole positions
- 2-channel pencil pocket on left sleeve
- 2- bellow style top opening upper sleeve pockets with drain-holes
- 330D CORDURA® MIL-DTL-32439 Type IV nylon reinforced elbow patches
- Friend or Foe Identification tab on sleeves with hook and loop closure
- IFF tab cover on sleeve above the upper sleeve pocket
- Front loop tape to accommodate Name and US Army Tape
- Front placket with loop tape for the Rank

EXPENSIVE
"I needed this, and couldn't wait around for the AZ Army National Guard to provide it. This uniform, especially living in Phoenix AZ, is so much more comfortable and more fitting for this climate. Great fit, great job on sewing the patches correctly. What's to hate? The cost. Over $200 (after shipping) for ONE top and ONE bottom with sewn on patches. Insane."
Q&A
- Is there permethrin added and is there an IR patch on the jacket like those uniforms made by DLATS?
- No, these uniforms are not treated with Permethrin and they do not come with the IR tab attached. We do carry the IR tabs, but they are not included.
- Is this authorized for Air Force?
- Not until next year. The direct quote reads: "The Improved Hot Weather Combat Uniform will not be made available as an option for Airmen until after our current OCP mandatory wear date of April 2021. A limited release of this uniform has been fielded, but is currently only authorized for the Army."
- Can you make one or do you offer the Hot Weather OCP uniform in Woodland Camo pattern. I will buy one tomorrow if you do
- We do not offer this uniform in the Woodland Digital pattern.
- I have a set of issued Hot weather OCPs that fit perfect not at all baggy like the standard uniform. Does this uniform fit properly or does it fit like the standard uniform ?
- These should fit just the same as the hot weather uniforms you already have. The material is softer, which prevents it from bunching and bulging.
- Need Marine Corps Digital Woodland And Digital Desert Cimbat Shirts And Trousers Do You Have ?
- At this point we do not carry any USMC camo uniforms.
