Shop by Military Rank
Military ranks signify the responsibilities, authority, and pay associated with each service member, and a higher rank corresponds to increased authority. The Army, Air Force, and Marine Corps have similar ranks, while the Coast Guard and Navy generally share similar ones. The Space Force partially adopts the Air Force rank system. The Space Force uses the term “Specialist” for the pay grades of E-1 through E-4, and the E-5 pay grade is a sergeant, but after E-5 the Air Force and Space Force ranks are referred to using the same rank titles.
The lowest enlisted military grade is "E-1," and the highest officer grade is "O-10," commonly known as general. There is a five-star officer rank in the Air Force, Army and Navy, but those ranks have not been used in decades since the end of the Korean War. Despite variations in nomenclature, all services use the common classifications of "E" for enlisted and "O" for officers. However, the rank names that remain consistent across all services are warrant officers which can be found in the Army, Navy, and Marines.
