United States Army 225th Engineer Brigade Unit Crest (Confectio)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 225th Engineer Brigade. Their motto is Confectio which translates to Accomplishment. Scarlet and white are the traditional colors of the Engineer Corps. The fleur-de-lis refers to Louisiana, the units home area. The crescent refers to New Orleans, the former headquarters of the unit. The DUI was approved in 2007 for the 225th Engineer Brigade. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
