Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 501st Aviation Regiment. The Warding Eye is their motto. Originally approved in 1962 for the 501st Aviation Bn and redesignated in 1988 for the 501st Aviation Regiment. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
