Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 7th Signal Brigade. Voice of Freedom is their motto and is inscribed on each crest. Approved for wear in 1970 with the motto amended in 1988. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Uniform (Greens) and Army Service Uniform (ASU).

"7 SIGNAL BRIGADE UNIT CREST, I ORDERED THESE, I HAD THESE ON Y KHAKIES AND CLASS A UNIFORM, WHEN I WAS IN GEORGIA AND GERMANY, UNFORTUNATELY, A DUFFEL BAG WAS LOST ALSO WAS A LOT OF GI STUFF, NEVER RECOVERED. GLAD TO GET THESE BACK, 7 SIGNAL BRIGADE UNIT CREST ON THE UNIFORMS."
