United States Army 8th Army Unit Crest (Pacific Victors)

Criteria: This item is the unit crest of the 8th Army. The unit's motto, "Pacific Victors," is emblazoned across the bottom scroll and reference the unit's Pacific service during World War II and the Korean War. The colors red and white are the colors used for "Armies." The stylized cross which dominates the design splits it into eight sections referencing the unit's numerical designation. Also called distinctive unit insignia, this item is worn on the Army Dress Blue (ASU) Uniform.
