MultiCam/Scorpion (OCP) Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Embroidered Badges

Criteria: The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Badge is awarded to military personnel specially trained in dealing with the construction, deployment, disarmament, and disposal of high explosives munitions. Disposal specialists of nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons along with improvised explosive devices (IEDS), vehicle-born explosive devices (VBIEDS), and improvised nuclear devices are also eligible for the EOD badge. Created in the 1950s, the EOD Badge is issued in three levels. Although each service has its own requirements, the badge is identical for all branches. The Basic EOD badge is issued upon completion of explosive handling training, as well as 18 to 24 months of on-the-job field training. The Senior EOD Badge is issued after 3 to 5 years as an EOD specialist. The Master Explosive Ordnance Disposal Badge is issued after 7 to 15 years of service in a senior supervisory position.
