"I retired from the Air Force in 93. Things have changed in the military dress requirements in 30 years. They required for semi formal dress a herring bone tie and you had one. My collar brass was tarnished beyond use and my blue belt was a little small. I also was able to replace my ribbons with Mil-thin ribbons and devices. I may be an old airman now, but my uniform fit right in."
