Criteria:

This is the Connecticut National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Connecticut National Guard who distinguish themselves by outstanding service. The service member must have risked their own life while serving to be eligible. The service must show how the individual went far above and beyond the call of duty.
