Criteria: Worn by Hull Maintenance Technicians (ET) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Hull Maintenance Technicians are responsible for all of the maintenance regarding ships' hulls, fittings, piping and machinery. They maintain, install and repair all of the ship and shore based plumbing and piping systems. They are also in charge of a vessel's safety and survival equipment.
The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
