"Dear Sirs, the lapel pin I recently purchased was a high quality product. The major problem with it, I found, was that it was not a completely accurate representation of the ribbon. The actual ribbon has a distinctive gold frame border, as do many unit awards. While your product has a thin gold edge, I didn't find it an accurate-enough representation to use as I had planned. Q&A
- I have recently received my third JMUA award. The DOD MANUAL 1348.33, VOLUME 4 states to add bronze oak cluster for the 2nd through 5th and silver cluster for awards 6-10. Is there an option to add the cluster to the lapel pin?
- Unfortunately, there is not. We've experimented with gluing miniature devices onto lapel pins but they tend not to remain attached.
