"I thought the material would be more of a canvas like the seabag but this is more of a nylon. At first it bothered me but the nylon is a GAME CHANGER when walking around ir hiking on rainy days. Why dont we still issue and use these? The new main packs are heavy cotton material and rain soaks through it if it rains severely enough"

"Got this for rucking and the occasional overnighter. Haven't taken it out yet (just received), but materials and construction seem sound. I'm sure I'll get many miles out of it. Right after I submitted my order for this pack in Coyote, I decided I'd rather have the OD Green. Fickle me. Contacting USAMM to request a change was as simple as replying to the order confirmation email. Next morning, I awoke to a reply indicating that the color on the order had been changed, and another email indicating that the shipment process was already initiated. I guess I don't always expect things to be so pleasant and hassle-free so this really stood out to me. Thank you USAMM."

"I like the aluminum frame, the size fits my back way better then the plastic ones. I also like and how many pockets it has and that you can tie the bottom up to make the bag smaller in order to carry the weight higher up. My only complaint is that the clips used to fasten the straps slip very easily so I put electrical tape around it and that seemed to do the trick. (specifically the clips on the shoulder straps, kidney pad, and top flap straps)"
