There are currently 10 versions of the NATO Medal to recognize service in Yugoslavia, Kosovo, the republic of Macedonia, service during Article 5 operations (two), service for Non-Article 5 operations (four) and NATO meritorious service. "I served for 20, during OEF, OIF, and ODS. I earned a few medals. Lost my home in a flood including all of our personal belongings. I was told I could order my medals free from NPRC. However; it could take up to six months and I would still have to get them mounted and the devices would have to be done by me... Well I didn't have that kind of time, not to mention more time to get them mounted, and I have vision problems. Besides I didn't know any one around who could mount them. USAMM came though, the did a wonderful job and they look better than the original ones. The turn around time was incredibly fast. I am very happy with my order! Thank you so much!"
