Criteria: Worn by Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians (EOD) with ranks from Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4) to Petty Officer 1st Class (E-6). Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians are responsible for the location, identification, rendering safe, and disposing of all forms of ordnance, from conventional to chemical/biological to even nuclear devices. These may be U.S. or foreign-made. The areas in which these technicians perform their duties can vary dramatically and many the technicians have been trained to preform parachute, helicopter, or even deep-sea diving insertions.

The badge is sold with all 3 chevrons below the rating for E-6, and can be tailored down to the other two chevrons.
