Criteria:

This is the Pennsylvania National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon. Awarded to service-members of the Pennsylvania National Guard who provide noteworthy service for the state. A gold "V" device is awarded as well, if the service member was in a situation that involved the risk of death or grave injury. For additional awards a silver star device is worn, while a numerical device is worn for 6th and subsequent awards.
