Criteria:
The Public Health Service National Emergency Preparedness Award is an award of the Department of Health and Human Service presented to officers of the PHS. Awarded is presented after the service person has served two years of continuous service in a unit that is required to provide emergency medical or support services. While considered a civilian award it is approved for wear on all military uniforms.
