Criteria: This is the Class A patch or full color patch for the Army Sergeant Major (SGM) Academy. The Sergeants Major Academy (USASMA) was established on July 1, 1972 at Fort Bliss, TX. It began instruction in January of 1973. There are 6 current creditable courses you can take: Basic Leaders Course, Advanced Leaders Course, Senior Leaders Course, Master Leaders Course, Sergeants Major Course, and Executive Leaders Course. Class A patches are worn on the Army's Service Green uniform. The patch measures 2 1/4" wide by 3 1/4" tall. Sold individually.
