Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the Special Troops Battalion, 4th Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. Activated in 2005 at Ft. Bliss, TX. Vigilant and Always Ready is their motto and is inscribed on each crest. Approved for wear in 2005. Unit crests are worn on the Army Service Uniform (ASU) and Army Class A Uniform (Greens).
