United States Army 189th Regiment Unit Crest (Honoris Custos)

Criteria: These distinctive unit insignia (DUI) are worn by the 189th Regiment. Their motto is Honoris Custos. Originally this DUI was approved for the 189th Field Artillery, hence the red shield. Over the years it has been redesignated with it most recently being redesignated for the 189th Regiment, Oklahoma Army National Guard in 1997. Unit crests are worn on the Army Class A Service Green and Army Service Uniform (ASU).
