"My order came quick! My dad was a Store Keeper’s 1st, as this rate was combined with another many years ago I thought I might have a problem finding it but y’all had it! He gave me his Peacoat when I was in high school and when it gets cold it’s my go to coat and now it sports his rate. My dad, Charlie Pitts was in the Naval Reserve from 1954 thru 1970, unable to enlist during WW2 due to a severe injury while a Boy Scouts he finally was able to get into the Reserves. He was a numbers guy and he got the perfect job in the Navy. He was assigned to NAS Atlanta. Part of his duties was to conduct audits of stores at NAS’s around the world, he traveled everywhere. I still have the souvenirs he brought back in his travels. My dad passed in 2001 from cancer but I’m very proud of him and proudly wear his Peacoat as a legacy to him. He was a great father and a truly positive roll model in our family. I miss him and his wisdom and sage advice he gave us over the years."
