Proudly display your military career or that of a loved one with this expertly-crafted Small Shadow Box. Built with an acrylic glass front and hinged lid, the Small Display Case can accommodate up to 5 medals with a small assortment of uniform components (i.e. badges, patches and ribbons). The inner dimensions of the small shadow box are 10" x 8" x 3/4". Choose between four colored backgrounds: Black, Blue, Green and Red.

For an additional fee you can have the option of including a custom-engraved brass nameplate. Use the text box above to enter exactly what you would like engraved on the nameplate. Up to four lines can be engraved with a maximum of 30 characters per line.

Sturdy and Elegant!

"Sturdy and beautiful! It doesn't feel like cheap wood material, but rather real finished wood. The acrylic window came without blemishes or scratches and is attached securely. The clasp doesn't feel flimsy, and it has a lock (which came with 2 keys). The felt and the cardboard piece it came with made it very easy to mount all of the medals and nameplate. Since it is felt, it allows for velcro to effectively be utilized to attach aspects that do not have pins. It comes with hardware to mount it to a wall, and comes with hooks pre-installed on the box itself for hanging. All of the pieces fit together seamlessly, which allows for a beautiful look once everything is completely put together. Thanks so much!"

I thought the description in the write up was confusing because you used the term assembled when mounting would have been less confusing. Some places actually send the shadow box in pieces for you to put together unless you say you want the assembled version."

Q&A

how do you mount the medals and patches onto backing? does it work with velco strips and if so are they provided in the box.
Anything that has a pin backing we stick through the felt and clasp onto the back. Any patches we use velcro to stick to the felt. We do not provide the velcro unless we are assembling it for you.
