"This pin is like the one I had received in 1987 when my Navy obligation expired. Odd as I had been in the PAARNG for 16 months when I received it. Apparently my PAARNG recruiter failed to obtain a conditional release for me from the Navy when I enlisted in the PAARNG in September 1986."
