United States Marine Corps Rifle Requalification Bar
Criteria: Awarded to Marine Corps personnel who have qualified as an Expert the previous year and then subsequently re-qualify as an Expert on a re-qualification detail. Marines who successfully re-qualify Expert earn a re-qualification bar to be attached to either the Rifle Expert or the Pistol Expert Badge. The first bar earned is recognized as the Second Award since the original Expert Badge was earned first. Marines are authorized to wear the subsequent re-qualification bars each time they fire expert for record. The Expert qualifications do not have to be earned in back-to-back years (i.e. if a Marine fires Expert during Recruit Training, Sharpshooter the first year in the Operating Forces, and Expert the third year in the Operating Forces, then the Marine rates an Expert badge with a 2nd Award re-qualification bar for the current year). Only one re-qualification bar is worn on the badge at a time. Requalification Bars can only be worn on the Rifle Expert Badge or the Pistol Expert Badge. Subsequent Marksman and Sharpshooter requalifications do not earn Requalification Bars.

Cost is a bit much
"I am in the process of creating shadow boxes for all four of my children and my wife. I have quite a bit of material to purchase for these boxes and it is proving quite costly. I guess the only complaint I have is the price of everything. I have spent quite a bit of money already and I still have quite a way to go. So far, everything I’ve received has been good quality, so I am going to go ahead and give you a five star, but I just wish that I could complete this project without going into the poor house"
